Here is a quick summary of the books about Harry Potter.  Book 1: The Sorcerer's Stone  Harry Potter is living what he later learns as Muggles, non-magical beings, because his parents were murdered.He first learns that he is a wizard and will be attending a wizarding school, Hogwarts. He meets many friends, including Hermione Granger, Ron Weasly, Neville Longbottom, and more. He also meets Draco Malfoy, an enemy. He learns the past of Voldemort, the murderer of his parents. He knows that there is a package the gamekeeper, Hagrid, has in a bank vault. Harry wonders what is important about this object and who is after it.  Book 2: Chamber of Secrets  There are wierd things happening at Hogwarts and anyone is a suspect, including Harry! Harry meets a house-elf, Dobby who tells him very bad things are going to happen at the school. Harry, Ron, and Hermione must discover what's lurking around the school and turning students to stone. Their is said to be a secret chamber within the school where the monter may be hiding, but it is hard to find it, and they don't know what happens if they do.  Book 3: The Prizoner of Azkaban  A horrible murderer is on the loose, and they all know he is heading to Hogwarts! Harry learns that Sirius Black, a man who was said to assist in killing the Potters, wants to come back and get Harry also! Harry wonders if he can avoid the treacherous escapee.  Book 4: The Goblet of Fire  For the first time in a over a century Hogwarts is holding a Triwizard Tournament, which is a competition involving students from 3 wizarding schools. Harry isn't old enough to be a contestant, but someone is plotting against him and bends the rules. He doesn't have nearly as much experience with magic as the other players, and hopes he'll be able to survive the match! Book 5: Order of the Pheonix You-Know-Who is back! Harry's going through puberty, serious nightmares, been expelled, and when he's finally allowed to go back to Hogwarts - Dumbledore won't speak to him, Ron & Hermione are prefects, Hagrid's disapeared, everyone's absolutely terrified of him, and there's a crazy DADA teacher!
